Roomscale VR lets you walk around, duck under, and even hug the life-sized figures.The initial release of The VR Museum includes 15 high-fidelity sculptures, and more are coming. In addition, two famous paintings are included, scanned and rendered in crisp detail. In future releases, both collections of sculpture and paintings are sure to expand. The artwork is arranged thoughtfully into four exhibits, each with its own theme. If you ever actually feel like learning something, informative holographic plaques are placed next to each piece of art. That does involve reading, though, and that's a lot of work.Tickets are free, drinks are temporarily non-existent, and the artwork is pristine. I wish the models and textures were a bit higher resolution, but I can't complain too much at this price. Very cool. Hope the exhibits change every so often. Am keen to go back. "A'a" was wonderfull. If possible the 'shine' when viewing the main room (spectral flair) could be reduced - we have the same problem in real gallaries but there we just have to put up with it. Matt is king.Well done. Yeah!!!This is one of the best idea for VR, it's not much yet to look at but it really show how cool it could getImagine visiting a museum without the crowd, or ticket, or restrictions you usually have!I love this one (even if I haven't "played" it much). Great expirience and fun to actually be able to get so close to the pieces, something that you can't do in real life. If you like art or history, give this a try.. Very cool museum experience, excellent use of VR to see stuff up close as you may never get the chance to do in person. Easy to navigate, easy to read, awesome to explore and admire. I hope there's more to come.. Exactly what it says on the tin: the VR Museum of Fine Art. It's also the best "educational" VR experience I've encounted, by far. You wander through several rooms with various real-world artifacts, sculptures, and paintings. Informative plaques come into view as you approach various objects.Technically, there is zero lag and no wonky controls. Movement is quick and fluid. Graphically, everything is very well-defined and sharp. There's no visual stuttering or nausea-inducing low FPS that plague certain other educational apps. The text throughout the museum is clear and readable.A job well done. I definitely look forward to seeing this expand over time.
